PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project proposes the repair, resurfacing and reconstruction of tennis, multipurpose, and pickleball courts throughout the County. The resurfacing may include applying new color coating or applying a layer of stone dust with additional blacktop, then color coating depending on the condition of the courts. Many existing courts are 15 to 30 years old and need work to provide a safe playing surface and fencing. Priorities are established through annual review and consultation with Harford County Public Schools. This project supports the goals and objectives of the 2018 Land Preservation, Parks and Recreation Plan and its Capital Improvement Program recommendations.
