ORIGIN/PURPOSE:

The Transfer Station budget supports the Municipal Solid Waste Disposal Agreement between Harford County Government and Baltimore County Government. The Agreement provides for construction and operation of facilities located in Baltimore County to properly dispose of solid waste and process materials for recycling as described in the Harford County Solid Waste Management Plan.
