Performance Measure 1: Number of new Zoning Enforcement cases ABOUT THIS MEASURE:

This measure tracks the number of new code cases opened by Zoning Enforcement in the fiscal year.

WHAT IS BEING DONE AND WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO TRACK:

Tracking the number of complaints is important to ensure we have the required resources needed to meet the goal of beginning an investigation within 4 days of receiving the inquiry. We track the number of complaints alongside the number of days to respond.

FACTORS CONTRIBUTING TO CURRENT PERFORMANCE:

New code cases are based on citizen and agency complaints. Contributing factors to vegetation complaints include season and weather (i.e. dry weather=fewer complaints).
