ORIGIN/PURPOSE:

This division was retitled and transferred to the Office of Governmental and Community Relations by Executive Order 16-03. The division is administered by the Chief, Citizen Affairs and Agricultural Services who reports directly the Director, Governmental & Community Relations. The primary responsibilities of this division include the coordination, control and oversight of the investigation, research and resolution of citizen issues and concerns regarding the application of governmental policies, laws and programs, as well as extensive work with the agricultural community. Additional responsibilities will include acting as a liaison between the County Executive and various community councils and providing assistance on constituent matters to the Harford County Council.
