ORIGIN/PURPOSE: The Stormwater Management group is responsible for: Plan review and approval for stormwater management and sediment control facilities for all private and public construction projects Post-construction/maintenance inspections for completed stormwater management facilities Administration of the stormwater management and sediment control program is delegated by the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE). Recent updates to the state stormwater management regulations have required new development to focus on designing and constructing smaller and more effective stormwater management facilities resulting in a significantly larger number of facilities being constructed. The new regulations have increased plans review times and the time required to complete inspections. FY 24 GOALS: COORDINATE ALL ACTIVITIES OF THE PROJECT TEAM
