Performance Measure 2: Percent of County bridges with a rating = or < than 60 ABOUT THIS MEASURE: This measure tracks the percent of county bridges that have a rating equal to or below 60.
WHAT IS BEING DONE AND WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO TRACK:
Tracking the percentage of bridges that need repair based on their rating number gives an assessment of the ratio of bridges that need repair versus the total number of bridges. A lower percentage indicates better maintenance of bridges, therefore requiring less reconstruction.
FACTORS CONTRIBUTING TO CURRENT PERFORMANCE:
Weather, usage, age, etc.
Performance Measure 3: Average rating of all County bridges ABOUT THIS MEASURE:
This measure reflects the County's maintenance and efficiency of maintaining County bridges
WHAT IS BEING DONE AND WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO TRACK:
The higher the average rating, the better condition County bridges are averaging. It is important to track this trend to adjust maintenance schedules as needed.

Weather, age, usage, etc.
Performance Measure 4: Number of Miles Striped ABOUT THIS MEASURE:
This measure tracks the miles of County road striped in a fiscal year.
WHAT IS BEING DONE AND WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO TRACK: This measure tracks the miles of County road striped in a fiscal year.
FACTORS CONTRIBUTING TO CURRENT PERFORMANCE:
Scheduled and non-scheduled equipment maintenance, availability of crews, weather, etc.
Performance Measure 5: Cost per mile of Striping ABOUT THIS MEASURE:
This measure tracks the cost of striping per mile. This includes maintenance, personnel, and materials.
WHAT IS BEING DONE AND WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO TRACK:
This is a very important measure to track when determining the budget request for each fiscal year.
FACTORS CONTRIBUTING TO CURRENT PERFORMANCE:
The cost of doing business, materials, personnel expense, equipment repair/maintenance costs.
