ABOUT THIS MEASURE:

Demonstrates the commitment of the county's agricultre sector to utilizing technology to improve production capacity and effiiciency; shows how farms are willing to innovate and utilize resources to their advantage

WHAT IS BEING DONE AND WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO TRACK:

Ag coordinator will research ag-related grant and loan options and do individualized outreach to county farms; tracking will serve as data measure on how many farms use referrals

FACTORS CONTRIBUTING TO CURRENT PERFORMANCE:

Transition to new ag coordinator; outreach of Economic Development Ag Advisory Board; modernization of farm work
