ORIGIN & PURPOSE: The GIS & Analysis Division was created in the FY 2025 Budget in order to better account for functions related to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and the analytical aspects thereof, which previously resided in the Comprehensive Planning Division. This division is stafed by several GIS specialists and data analysts who provide informational reports and mapping services to county departments, afliated agencies, and to the public upon request.
