ORIGIN & PURPOSE: The Division of Housing accepts and administers Federal, State and Local housing funding, addresses the housing needs of residents, and assists with housing issues. GOALS: To expand homeownership opportunities for Harford County citizens through administration of down payment and assistance programs and homeowner and rental assistance counseling To promote afordable housing opportunities for low-moderate income households, the elderly and disabled and to create viable communities by creating partnership programs that improve the quality of life for our citizens
