ORIGIN & PURPOSE: The Ofce on Aging serves as the single point of entry for seniors and adults age 18 and older who are living with disabilities as well as their caregivers. The Ofce works to strengthen our communities by serving as the premier resource for services and to help our target populations achieve an optimal quality of life and personal well being. The Ofce provides information and assistance to adults living with disabilities and their caregivers to enable them to remain independent with an enhanced quality of life. The Ofce also provides a broad array of programs and services to support the needs of older adults in our community through direct service provision, referral, case management and advocacy. The Ofce on Aging also runs fve senior activity centers throughout Harford County, empowering citizens with knowledge and promoting life-long physical and mental health. Furthermore, the Ofce on Aging strives to continuously improve the network of available services to ensure efcient, efective and proactive assistance for all Harford County citizens.
