ORIGIN & PURPOSE : Harford Transit provides public and specialized transportation services in Harford County . Services include 7 public bus routes with 12 buses operating Monday through Friday , as well as 12 - 14 buses operating daily on origin to destination services for the elderly and disabled persons .

GOAL : To provide access to a safe , dependable and e ff ective transportation system to the County ' s business community and transit - dependent population by connecting citizens with jobs and services

Harford Transit operating expenses are funded by various federal and state transportation grants .
