PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Blueprint for Maryland's Future Act (HB 1300) is legislation passed to be implemented over the next 10 years to improve and enhance the quality of public education in Maryland. In 2021 HB 1372 was passed to complement and update HB 1300. The requested funds in this category will be used to make the improvements to provide the physical environment and equipment needed to meet Blueprint program requirements. The funds are used for facility improvements, portable buildings, program specific technology, and new and replacement educational equipment and furnishings.

Pre-kindergarten expansion: Jarrettsville Elementary School: addition of a bathroom in a classroom to accommodate all-day Pre-K; Portable classrooms for full-day Pre-K expansion: Bakerfield ES, Riverside ES, George D. Lisby ES.
