PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project is for the acquisition of privately owned land in areas where additional public facilities are needed due to population growth and other factors. Land needs are prevalent for public schools, parks & recreation, fire & EMS, stormwater, state highways and other public purposes. Aberdeen is an area with significant needs due to population growth caused by the annexation and development of land for residential purposes.
