PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Northern Precinct is a 24 hour per day, 365 days per year autonomous public safety building located in Jarrettsville. The access control system, server, and security camera system is a critical operational safety system that has been identified to have reached its end of life and can no longer be updated or supported. This project would replace the current system with approximately thirty security cameras, one primary security access server, and four remote touchscreen servers. It requires 10 intercom boxes, 17 access control keypads , and the labor to install the hardware and wiring. The new system would allow for the required level of security and provide for the same equipment that has recently replaced outdated systems in several other Sheriff's Office and County buildings.
