ORIGIN & PURPOSE: Harford Transit provides public and specialized transportation services in Harford County. Services include 7 public bus routes with 12 buses operating Monday through Friday, as well as 12-14 buses operating daily on origin to destination services for the elderly and disabled persons. GOAL: To provide access to a safe, dependable and effective transportation system to the County's business community and transit-dependent population by connecting citizens with jobs and services Harford Transit operating expenses are funded by various federal and state transportation grants.
