PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project provides funds for Water & Sewer's share of the 700 MHz radio purchase. These radios are needed in order to ensure interoperability with Baltimore County's new radio system and the soon to be installed regional radio system. This project is BRAC related, as population growth increases in volume. Additional radio channels are required to handle the increased call volume. It is also related to the Master Plan as it provides public facilities that are needed for safe and sustainable communities.
