Andy's Eggs and Poultry est. 1904 - Fallston, MD Current Owners: Charles Bachman Original Purchaser: Edward Roach Current Acreage: 70 Current Agricultural Products or Services: farm market producing: eggs, chicken, turkey, pork, lamb, beef, and flowers Preserved The farm has seen many agricultural segments, from a small dairy farm to a 4,000 egg layer operation in the 1950s, raising produce for the Maryland wholesale market. In the 1970s, we raised hogs and sold them to Esskay in Baltimore. Grew and sold pumpkins every fall on the roadside. Today, we raise 3,000 laying hens, broilers, turkeys, hogs, lambs, and steers sold on the farm and at four farmer's markets.
