The current farm is in the shape of a U. We no longer own the middle, including the original house now owned by the Gunther family. I believe my wife's family originally bought the farm in 1906. My wife's grandfather was named Jackson Dietz but some in the family spell it, Deitz. Jackson Dietz bought the property in 1919 from the Trustees of the Presbytery of Baltimore. The middle was sold off in 1935. My wife's parents Garnett and Edith Hash bought the property in 1949.
