Project Schedule/Status: Design is 95% complete and construction is planned for FY 23. Steel prices have doubled and concrete costs have risen 10%, and this is a steel beam bridge. The FY 23 funding request is due to the rise in supply costs.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This bridge carries Stafford Road over Deer Creek. The bridge, built in 1950, shows numerous deficiencies and areas of deterioration. The purpose of this project is to rehabilitate the bridge to extend its useful life for another 40 years. This project is consistent with the Master Planning goal of maintaining a safe and adequate transportation system to serve existing and future populations.
