Performance Measure 7: Decrease the number of overdoses in the county

ABOUT THIS MEASURE:

This measure tracks the number of overdoses and fatal overdoses in the county.

WHAT IS BEING DONE AND WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO TRACK:

Tracking the percentage of overdoses in the county is an indicator of what implementations are needed in the county and areas of focus.

FACTORS CONTRIBUTING TO CURRENT PERFORMANCE: Synthetic drugs, type of drugs being used in the county, mental health, over prescribing of medicaiton, other health issues as a result of substance use.
