The fourth and fifth generations of the Scarborough family are living on the homestead and operating the farm. Historically, the farm was part of a tract of land in Churchville called "Good Neighborhood Enlarged". It is interesting to note that during WWII, Churchville Elementary School students, with a sense of patriotism, gathered milkweed pods from the farm. The naturally buoyant and water-resistant floss was used for filling life jackets for soldiers.
