Project Schedule/Status: Construction of the park site is underway.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project proposes the development of passive community amenities, including trails, a picnic pavilion and playground on a vacant site. Development of an attractive site and community attractions will contribute to revitalization of the area. Funding may include Community Legacy and Program Open Space funds as well as local funds. Additional residential development is anticipated in the Edgewood community. Population growth will generate demand for additional recreation facilities. This project supports the goals and objectives of the 2022 Land Preservation, Parks and Recreation Plan and its Capital Improvement Program recommendations.
