Performance Measure 6: Average number of days to respond to written requests ABOUT THIS MEASURE:
This measure tracks the average number of days to respond to written inquiries for information in the Permits and Development review Section.
WHAT IS BEING DONE AND WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO TRACK:
Tracking the number of days to respond to requests for information allows us to ensure we meet our new goal of 10 working days to respond, and to maintain an efficient process.
FACTORS CONTRIBUTING TO CURRENT PERFORMANCE: Current case load; available staff; complexity and amount of information requested. Performance Measure 7: Acres of land preserved under Agricultural Preservation efforts ABOUT THIS MEASURE:
This indicates the number of acres preserved in an Agricultural Preservation Program coordinated by the Department of Planning and Zoning.
WHAT IS BEING DONE AND WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO TRACK:
Staff proactively reach out to landowners and take applications from landowners with property that meet the eligibiltiy requirements to enter the preservation programs. It's important to know the amount of land we have preserved from further development. FACTORS CONTRIBUTING TO CURRENT PERFORMANCE: Acres availble; eligibility requirements; desire to be part of the preservation program.
