ABOUT THIS MEASURE:
This measure tracks the number of HCPS buildings connected to the County VoIP system.
WHAT IS BEING DONE AND WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO TRACK:
Migrating HCPS buildings off aging voice mail systems to HCG VoIP system to reduce cost and increase operational efficiencies.
FACTORS CONTRIBUTING TO CURRENT PERFORMANCE:
Funding, equipment availability, and having required technical resources available to support the project.
Performance Measure 3: Additional Miles of HMAN fiber installed
ABOUT THIS MEASURE:
This measure tracks the miles of fibers installed for the HMAN and rural broadband expansion projects.
WHAT IS BEING DONE AND WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO TRACK:
Connecting additional County buildings to HMAN and building fiber infrastructure for rural broadband.
FACTORS CONTRIBUTING TO CURRENT PERFORMANCE: Access Agreements, supply chains and weather could delay construction schedules.
Performance Measure 4: Number of aging applications/software to be replaced/upgraded

This measure tracks the number of aging applications/software that must be replaced/upgraded.
WHAT IS BEING DONE AND WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO TRACK: Providing users access to the latest software technology, features, and functionality.
FACTORS CONTRIBUTING TO CURRENT PERFORMANCE:
Having technical resources and project management to ensure successful completion of projects.
Performance Measure 5: Technology refresh cycle of replacement in years (Departments, GIS, HMAN)
ABOUT THIS MEASURE:
This measure tracks the age of technology to ensure a schedule is maintained to refresh aging hardware and software.
WHAT IS BEING DONE AND WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO TRACK:
This measure tracks the Technology refresh schedule to ensure the County is utilizing the latest technology. (Departments, GIS, HMAN).
FACTORS CONTRIBUTING TO CURRENT PERFORMANCE: Supply chain is a factor contributing to performance.
Performance Measure 6: Improve Cyber Security Posture
ABOUT THIS MEASURE:
This measure tracks the cyber security posture of the County.
WHAT IS BEING DONE AND WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO TRACK:
Adding security software, features, functionality, and services to protect the data and IT infrastructure. FACTORS CONTRIBUTING TO CURRENT PERFORMANCE: The number of bad actors, frequency of attacks, increase in complexity of attacks, and educating employees are factors contributing to performance.
