Number of staff hours worked in a 24 hour period to staff required positions. In FY26 we will be adding supervisory posiotions into the total count.

9-1-1 center growth is occurring and it is necessary to monitor staffing levels needed to provide services
FACTORS CONTRIBUTING TO CURRENT PERFORMANCE: Increase in dispatch services for town agencies
Performance Measure 6: Percentage of 9-1-1 calls answered in 10 seconds or less. ABOUT THIS MEASURE:
This measure specifically focuses on the share of calls that receive efficent service and care by the 9-1-1 Center employees.
WHAT IS BEING DONE AND WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO TRACK: It is necessary to monitor to ensure calls are being answered within established standards.
FACTORS CONTRIBUTING TO CURRENT PERFORMANCE:
Minimum staffing levels during shifts and agile resource allocation when calls are left in queue.
Performance Measure 7: Average speed of answer for 9-1-1 calls ABOUT THIS MEASURE:
This measure reviews the average level of service the public recevies when calling the 9-1-1 Center.
WHAT IS BEING DONE AND WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO TRACK: To maintain compliance with the established standards. FACTORS CONTRIBUTING TO CURRENT PERFORMANCE: Call volume, staffing levels and composition of staff. (calltakers, dispatchers)
