ORIGIN/PURPOSE:
The Office on Aging serves as the single point of entry for seniors and adults age 18 and older who are living with disabilities as well as their caregivers. The Office works to strengthen our communities by serving as the premier resource for services and to help our target populations achieve an optimal quality of life and personal well-being. The Office provides information and assistance to adults living with disabilities and their caregivers to enable them to remain independent with an enhanced quality of life. The Office also provides a broad array of programs and services to support the needs of older adults in our community through direct service provision, referral, case management and advocacy. The Office on Aging also runs five senior activity centers throughout Harford County, empowering citizens with knowledge and promoting life long physical and mental health.
